What type of photography do you do?
I am a lifestyle natural light photographer, and I specialize in families. Lifestyle photography is very candid, which is why I am passionate about it. My sessions are raw, silly, and full of movement. I find that some of the best emotions come from these kinds of pictures. And, we all have fun doing it.
What kind of lighting do you use?
I am a natural light photographer. This means we will typically shoot outdoors or in really bright indoor lighting (bring on the windows!) to get the best shots possible. Ideally I like to shoot during the two hours before sunset, or in the first few hours of the morning. These times of day are when the sun and I are best buds. We can get some really amazing shots during golden hour in those last few hours of the afternoon.
When will I get my finished photos?
All galleries will be available 2 weeks post-session.
Do you travel?
Yes! I am able to travel to surrounding towns and counties. I am located in Ellsworth, KS, and am able to travel an hour in any direction. If you live outside of the vicinity, shoot me an email! I like to be flexible, and would love to try to work something out.
Are deposits refundable?
No. Any deposits required are non-refundable.
What is your cancellation/rescheduling protocol?
Trust me, I get it. Things happen. If an emergency should occur, just let me know as soon as possible that you won’t be attending our session. Keep in mind, deposits are non-refundable, so if you’re up for rescheduling, so am I! Your deposit will be applied to the rescheduled session, and we will carry on as normal.
Do I get ownership of my photos?
Yes. All online galleries will come with a print release. You can download straight from the gallery to any device, and print your heart out.
What should I wear?
The short answer is, whatever you want! I want to make sure my clients are confident and comfortable, above all else.
I do recommend solid, neutral colors for the best-looking outcome. Simple patterns are also great. I want to make sure the focus is on your beautiful faces, and not on a loud color or print. Neon colors are best avoided, as they don’t photograph well. If you are wearing patterns, make sure they don’t clash with the other outfits in the photos.
If you’re going into your session solo, you have much less to worry about. But again, simple is best.

I am an open book, and would love to chat about any questions or concerns you may have.
This is a beautiful experience we are about to share, and I want to make sure you’re the most comfortable and confident version of yourself when you step in front of my lens.
